Terms of use

These terms govern your use of train-watcher.com (“the service”), published by TELLTER (see section 9). By creating an account, you accept them.

1. The service

TrainWatcher monitors publicly available Eurostar Snap ticket availability and sends you alerts when a date opens up on a route you follow. TrainWatcher is an independent service with no connection to Eurostar: we do not sell tickets and we never take payment on Eurostar's behalf — our passes only pay for our own monitoring and alerting — and every booking happens exclusively on Eurostar's official website, under their own terms.

2. Your account

You agree to provide a valid email address, keep your credentials confidential, and create only one account for reasonable personal use. You may also sign in with Google, in which case Google manages your credentials.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

Creating an account is free and requires no card: it gives you the live availability board and a weekly email recap of openings. Real-time alerts (email and SMS, unlimited) require a paid pass — the Travel Pass, billed monthly, or the Annual Pass, billed yearly.

• Prices: the prices in force, inclusive of tax, are shown on our Pricing page and again before any payment.
• Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never pass through TrainWatcher and are never stored by us.
• Renewal: a pass is a subscription, renewed automatically at each due date (monthly or yearly) until you cancel it.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your dashboard, with no fee and no reason required. Your access stays active until the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded pro rata.
• Guarantee: if no opening is detected on the routes you follow during your pass, we refund it — just send us an email at [email protected].
• Right of withdrawal: because access starts immediately after payment, you expressly ask for the service to begin at once and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the pass has been fully performed (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). The guarantee above applies regardless.
• Price changes: any change is announced in advance and only applies to later due dates. You remain free to cancel before it takes effect.

4. What we do not guarantee

We do our best to detect openings quickly (continuous monitoring, alerts within minutes), but the service is provided “as is”:

• we do not guarantee that the availability shown is complete or accurate — Eurostar's website is the only authoritative source;
• receiving an alert does not guarantee you will get a ticket: Snap seats go fast and may be gone by the time you book;
• the service may be interrupted, degraded or discontinued, in particular if Eurostar changes its website or its terms.

To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect loss (a missed ticket, a cancelled trip, a price difference, and so on).

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service: mass automated access to our API, reselling or commercially redistributing alerts, creating accounts in bulk, or any unlawful use. We may suspend or delete an account in case of abuse, with notice where possible.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its brand and its content belong to TrainWatcher. “Eurostar” and “Eurostar Snap” are trademarks of their respective owners, cited for descriptive purposes only.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account at [email protected]. If a pass is running, cancel it first from your dashboard — or ask us to do it in the same email — so that it is not renewed. Your data will then be erased in line with our privacy policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will fall under the competent courts, after seeking an amicable resolution. Contact: [email protected].
